I see a lot of celebration for Trump here, but little recognition of where that really leaves us. Trusting in man is a risky business at best, and Trump has already made it clear he's not concerned with abortion. He considers it "settled law". Now that's sad on many levels, not the least of which is the fact that it isn't law. No, it's just a judicial ruling that has been treated like law to the tune of millions of dead babies.
So, where does that leave us? Well, I can tell y...ou for certain it did not move us out of judgment. How do I know? We've once again proven we do not truly regard the things of God's heart. No, what many did was actively support the other side. That is, they went out of their way to elect someone who would see to it that innocent blood continued to defile our land. Yet, they expect God to bless us for it all the same.

This one thing I know for absolute certain: God does NOT change. If He was angry with us before the election for willingly shedding innocent blood, guess how angry He is now for choosing to continue doing so?
If that doesn't give you pause, it should. God has been furious with us for some time, and He has been proving out His wrath steadily. Our last president was a punishment, and this new one will be, too. So, while victory may seem to be yours, it's an illusion. Our punishment remains. God will not overlook our disregard for innocent life when we have not yet truly repented of destroying it.
Innocent blood cries out unto God and He takes up their case. He looks down on those who should have protected these helpless ones and His wrath burns against them. That's how it works, folks, and we've been at it for over 40 years. God's not deaf. He hears them cry out at the injustice done to them, and He has heard you. You turned out in force to ensure they continue to be killed. Think about it.
I think your celebration will turn to tears quickly and your joy to sorrow. The only hope I have for this nation is that some voted for candidates who truly put God first, candidates who would have considered the children. God may yet have mercy on us because they did, but make no mistake about it: American "Christians" just called for more slaughter, and God heard them loud and clear. Pardon me if I don't feel like celebrating. No, I'll be a little too busy weeping and pleading for mercy.
