Who's the Priest?

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me, seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget My children. Hos 4:6

The "priests" of the organized church are the ones who have largely ignored abortion. Is it any wonder God has started calling women who will teach the truth of His word. So, what is the truth of abortion?

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.  Gen 9:5

This is saying that we are all responsible for each other, in that we don't have free reign to kill each other. Can you imagine what it must be like to face God after you've been an abortionist? Horrifying thought, isn't it? Yet, since we are all responsible for innocent life, everyone who doesn't take up the children's case is just as guilty. (Yes, many in the pulpit know this. They just didn't choose to address it.)

And He said, "What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto Me from the ground."  Gen 4:10

Innocent blood always cries out to God. Abel's did, and the children's does, too. I've heard the children's cries. It is heart-wrenching. They cry words, "Why didn't anyone help me? Why didn't anyone love me? Why did they do this to me?" Multiply that by thousands, and you get an idea of what He hears. (No, I am not the only one to have heard the children. Others have, too. It's just another of the horrific things covered up by those who don't want to be bothered.)

If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in His ways; then thou shalt add three cities more for thee, beside these three:  that innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.  Deu 19:9, 10

This is a formula for blessings, but it has in it a serious warning that has to do with shedding innocent blood. God is saying if you obey Me, and make certain that innocent blood isn't shed in your land; then you will be blessed. He is also saying that to not protect the innocent makes you guilty of their blood. Psalms backs this up.

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.  Psa 106:37, 38

Innocent blood pollutes or defiles the land. Abortion is the shedding of innocent blood. The children are sacrificed to the false gods of our day:  wealth, self, and convenience. Yet, God has said:

Thou shalt not kill.  Exo 20:13

To understand this Scripture is to know it included the child in the womb. God was speaking to Israel as a nation. When He did that, He deliberately used words that included children in the womb. So, when He gave this command, they understood that even the child in the womb came under His protection.

Keep thee far from a false matter, and the innocent and righteous slay thou not; for I will not justify the wicked.  Exo 23:7

The wickedness of man's heart caused God to come back just three chapters later and specify that the innocent are not to be killed, even attaching a judgment. It applies to the child in the womb, because they have not done anything to justify the death penalty.

No, this is not all the Scripture says about killing the innocent, but it is enough to point to the truth of what His word has to say about it. We are all responsible, because we all live in the land, and we are all brothers under His sun. That means that every church that has been silent is guilty, and every pastor/priest who has ignored them has also ignored Him. God will abandon such a culture, and indeed, He has.
