Who Do You Support?

The battle waged is truly for the hearts and lives of this people. The sad news is that too few truly understand the issues, and fewer still will stand to fight. Yes, many would take up arms to defend themselves from man, but this war is spiritual. It's those warriors who neither come to the battlefield nor support those that do.

So many times I hear the argument, "we have to take what we can get". It breaks my heart, because it reveals a shocking lack of faith in God.

If God's people are to "take what they can get", why did David run at Goliath? Why bother? Seriously, Goliath was too big, too strong . . . an enemy that could not be felled; but David actually believed God.

If you understand the issues as related to God's word and will, you are in the minority. If you are willing to take the fight to the devil's stronghold, you are part of an even smaller minority. If you stand on God's word -- actually believe Him able, you almost stand alone.

Brothers and Sisters, this is why it is so incredibly important to support those who work in every way you possibly can. We come under attack not just by pro-aborts, and liberals; but by other "pro-lifers", professing Christians, and even clergy. We're standing at the pits of hell itself, against hoards of demons, and demanding they cease and desist. Even of those who do come to the battle, there are actually only a few who stand so.

We have not been loosing because there are no warriors. We have been loosing because there are too few, and too little support for those that do. It takes prayer, serious prayer coverage. It takes encouragement. (It's far easier to just give up.) It takes finances. (It isn't free. It costs everyone who works. It's just been well taught that such efforts don't deserve support.)

God is watching. Sadly, what He sees is a people who leave the work to that small handful. The organized church has been horrifically absent in this fight. It has protected itself while ignoring the children. God sees. He knows, and there will come an accounting. Consider well whose side you'll be seen as having supported.
