Under Attack

Today we went to visit with another pro lifer who has been on the "injured" list for some time. I asked the LORD if I should go, lay hands on her, and ask for healing.

He said, "Yes!"

So, we had a wonderful visit, chatted first about a mother we're trying to help. Then I laid hands on her, asking for God's merciful healing and rebuking the demonic element.
We are under serious spiritual attack here. I injured my foot sometime back, and was off it for over a week. It truly appeared to be broken, but the X-rays did not show a break. She injured her foot not long afterwards, and x-rays do not show breakage. I couldn't walk for days. She has been off her feet for weeks.
Then yesterday as I was preaching, I was swarmed by these little round, black bugs. They actually drew blood, biting me all up and down my arms, and distracting me momentarily from the message. I have also experienced a serious financial drawback, which has had an affect on my ability to work.
Death-pit security has started doing some very alarming and violent things, as well -- attacking a blind man, and brutalizing a woman in their renewed effort to silence us.
This place has always been like the very entry to hell with its own demonic hordes, etc. For that reason I have made a point of taking authority, rebuking, binding, etc. when I am able to be onsite. I don't think anyone else does this, and, truly, it would unwise for some to try. It is something, though, that must be done.
When one wrestles the devil, he will do his best to make one give up. I do believe this is what's happening here. We are having an affect. The devil does not like it. So, he is afflicting us every way he can.
If you consider this ministry, please pray that we will be able to continue the work. Pray for our health, physical and financial. I'm not looking for financial gain here. The mother I mentioned is truly in dire straights, but many of us are struggling to survive ourselves. We need to find a way to help her with big ticket items -- baby bed, car seat, stroller, etc So, this is life and death serious. There actually are eight mothers being assisted in this area at this time. So, do the math. If you can help, please do. If not, please pray.
I'm still searching for a way to support the ministry myself, but the truth is: If I have to earn the money to do the work, I simply won't have the time or strength to actually do the work. That's why the LORD incites people who aren't doing the work to give. That division of duties is intentional. It gives everyone a chance to get credit for the work.
There two ways you can support this ministry. One is by purchasing my book: "The Air of Heaven" at www.children-of-the-heart.com/AoH.shtml. The other is by sending us funds via P.O. Box 573; Andover, KS 67002. We aren't 501K, because we don't want the government influence that often brings. However, there are many blessings that come from helping ministries like ours. That's because it isn't about making money for us. It is about truly helping the most helpless among us.

Blessings,

Betty

Come Singing

In a good week I am onsite outside the local death-pit twice a day, everyday. Some days I’m there three times a day. Why so often? Well, the sad reality is almost every day at least one new person goes in. That is one new victim, one new collaborator, or one new perpetrator. Many, if not most, of these know only what the propaganda machine has taught them. They believe the lies, and they will continue to unless we are onsite sharing the truth.

There are many ways to effectively get the message across. One way is to hold signs. Another is to call out – both pleading for the children’s lives and proclaiming the truth of Scripture. Prayer works. Praise does, too. Offering a baby blanket has saved many through the years. Even just standing in opposition can turn a death-oriented mother from killing her child.

Through the years I have done all of  know abortion is an evil they should stand against, but they don’t want to. So, they misbehave, but the seed has already been planted. It’s like striking a match and holding it to kindling, the fire is lit, and they will have to work at putting it out.

This is a spiritual battle. If we are to win it, we must bring God to the foreground. Praising Him in song does that. It says, “We are here for You, LORD.”

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. – Psa 18:3

So, come singing. God is moving. Come be a part of glorifying Him while standing against this pit of hell. Yes, children are dying; but it is far, far better for us to make our objections clear, than to ignore what is done to them.

Blessings,

Betty

To Whom Do the Children Really Belong?

While Tuesdays are not normally killing days at the local pit, it is still good to go and preach the Word of God to the workers. Many cling to a false doctrine, that He is so loving that He will never punish them. To the organized church's shame few from the pulpit bother with offering the truth in church, much less outside a death pit. So, when I give them the appropriate Scriptures, they are often surprised that they even exist. Today's word centered around the fact that God not only know these children before they are born, He knows them before they are even in the womb.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. -- Jer 1:5

Here, God is speaking directly to Jeremiah. Jeremiah was not comfortable with the idea of being God's messenger. He protested that he was inadequate. So, God told him that He had prepared him before he was even conceived.

For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. -- Jud 13:5

Samson's mother could not conceive. So, she prayed fervently and an angel intervened. She went from being childless to bearing one of the great heroes of ancient time because God made it to be so. John the Baptist's parents experienced the same type of blessing, and, of course, we were told who the LORD would be long, long before He was conceived.

This is the God of the Bible. He gives to us, but there is a purpose in His giving. We are not to abuse or disrespect, let alone kill. He is the masterful Maker. We are merely the created. He has given us children as gifts, but He never intended for us to be so unappreciative as to kill them.

Thou shalt not kill. -- Exo 20:13

and

Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. -- Exo 23:7

When God commanded us not to kill, the children were included in His protection. Knowing how duplicitous we can be He clarified His intent just three chapters later. Given that the children are exactly where He placed them, they have done nothing to deserve the death penalty. They are innocent. Those that kill them are "wicked", and will not find justification without the complete reversal of their behavior. In other words, if you have chosen to slaughter innocent children, God considers you so wicked that any professed repentance must be proven out by your actions. You must not only cease to kill. You must be vocal and active in trying to end child sacrifice yourself.

For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers shall be justified. -- Rom 2:13

Finding Peace With God

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

One of the jobs given to parents is to raise honest, responsible, moral children. We don't do this for our own good, but for theirs. We know that honesty pays off. We know that responsibility will serve them well, and good morals will keep them from disastrous choices. God's rules are much the same. They were given to keep us from bad choices, destructive lifestyles, and an eternity of torment.

Today many try to edit God's word so that their choices do not appear bad. Much like disobedient children, they attempt to subvert the rules to have their way. A good parent will never allow their child to get away with such disrespect, and neither will God. Most parents know when their child has broken the rules. God always does.

It is out of love that parents discipline their children, and love that God expresses His displeasure. With earthly parents children may manage to get by with some things, but with God nothing eludes His attention. The difference here is that earthly parents have been disobedient themselves. So, we can relate to the desire to do what we should not.

With God, He not only sacrificed His only Son to pay for our sins, but He cannot co-habitate with sin.  This makes disobedience or sin a far more serious infraction to Him. Just as earthly parents enjoy being with their children, He longs to have a relationship with us. If we are in sin, that cannot be. His holiness will not allow it.

Despite what some say the God of the Bible is intensely interested and concerned with the lives of His creation.

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. -- Isa 30:18

The magnificent Creator of all that is literally gets up to see to His creation. Like our earthly parents, He is genuinely concerned for those who seek Him. But also, like our earthly parents, He requires submission and obedience to His rules. If we are to have peace with Him, that is what we must do -- regard Him as the Father He is, with respect and obedience.

Therefore, gird your minds for action; keep sober in spirit, fix  your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of  Yeshua the Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy." -- 1 Pet 1:13-16

This Convenient Gospel

Last week I journeyed once to the nearby abortuary to plead for the lives of helpless little children. While there I encountered a man who began to viciously berate and abuse me. His language was foul, his demeanor threatening. Yet, he would stop every so often as if to invite me up to speak to him, implying he both needed and wanted assistance.

Supposedly his child died in the womb and they had come to have it removed. I say supposedly because mothers and fathers routinely lie about what motivates them to an abortuary. We know this because many have confessed to lying after experiencing a change of heart. Nonetheless, upon hearing of the man’s misfortune I offered my heartfelt sympathy and explained that we were still obligated to God to speak up for the children being slaughtered. At which point, I also offered him a beautiful blanket for his child’s burial as a token of our regard for his loss.

His primary argument was that we absolutely had no right, and that no one – no matter how needy -- who came to an abortuary deserved to be helped anyway. At which point, I began to explain that our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross obligated us to love our brothers and sisters enough to be there in His stead. Further, I explained that we truly loved him, too, and were deeply sorry for his loss.

After considering all this, he suddenly confided that he, too, was a Christian, and it was his Christianity that caused him to be absolutely humiliated by our efforts. Then he began to threaten me, saying that if we (clearly meaning me) did not cease, he would file a complaint against me and see me arrested. Understand, all this occurred while he cursed and abused me verbally with his every breath.

Now, I ask you. Where do these “Christians” come from who believe such behavior is either pleasing to God or acceptable to Him? The sad thing is that many do come from a church environment – one that is so open to whatever feels right that all these things are considered appropriate.

Clearly, the man was hurting. He had lost his child and was deeply wounded by that loss. If he were a singular example, we might even say that his sorrow just went too deep. Unfortunately, this is not so. For every week we see many enter the abortuary with the sign of the cross, the sign of the fish, a Bible on the dashboard, or a Christian bumper sticker on the back! These men and women flash vulgar signs at us, curse us vehemently, threaten us . . . even aim their vehicles at us.

I would have put my arms around this man and wept with him, but he would have preferred to see me in chains. I would have prayed with him for healing and deliverance. Yes, I prayed for him anyway, but he did not get to feel that compassion nor experience that motherly embrace. He was too angry, too blind, and far too uneducated in the ways of God.

Christianity is not just a word. It is a conversion that affects us completely. I saw no such evidence in this poor man. In fact, before he finished his tirade, he had soundly cursed even the Lord. Nor do we see evidence of the Lord in those who come with their tokens of Christianity; but rather, we see the love of self – the love of convenience – the love of the lie.

It is inconvenient for me to go to plead for the lives of the children. It is hard to make the blankets I give away. It is heartbreaking to know that the children are being slaughtered as we stand outside pleading with their parents. But Christianity – true Christianity is not convenient. It requires sacrifice from us. It required the ultimate sacrifice from Him. Why now do so many think themselves so much better that they should not be inconvenienced even in the slightest? I tell you the truth, it is because so many have not been transformed – that is to say, they are only Christian in their minds, because their deeds speak clearly of an allegiance that is decidedly not heavenly.

God’s peace,

How Great is My Fear of You, Heavenly Father!

Why, Lord, do the people not fear You? Why, Lord, do they not tremble at their own disobedience? Surely You are righteously angry, for You suffered and died that we might be forgiven -- not that we might live lives of sin.

Father, I see You. I fear You. I tremble and weep for Your wrath is very great. You look upon our lukewarm hearts with contempt and are reviled at our disregard. I see Your anger, Your disappointment, and I am broken by it.

Father, what  can I do? I am but a little one. The nation does not see that I know of Your heart. They do not comprehend that You have revealed Yourself to one so insignificant. Not even John, who came to prepare a way for the Lord, could reach those who were not given to Him:

To this John replied, "A man can receive only what is give him from heaven." -- Joh 3:27

What am I to do? I drown myself in sorrow and weep until I am weak. I rush to do Your bidding; pleading and begging, speaking and sharing what You have said. Yet, far too many turn a deaf ear and spurn Your rebuke.

You said I would be like Jeremiah, speaking to a people who would not hear. You said we would be judged for preferring our wealth to You. Surely, that judgment is upon us. How we have wearied You! Again and again, You point me to these Scriptures!

You have wearied the Lord with your words.

"How have we wearied Him?" you ask.

By saying, "All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and He is pleased with them" or "Where is the God of justice?"

"See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to His temple; the messenger of the covenant, who you desire, will come," sa
ys the Lord Almighty.

But who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in the days gone by, as in former years.

"So, I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud the laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear ME," says the Lord Almighty.
-- Mal 2:17-3:5

Because we call the slaughter of innocents a "necessary" evil, we are guilty before You. Because we ignore the truth of Your word, we are guilty. Because we love the liar more than those who tell us the truth, we are guilty. Because we prefer to be entertained more than to be rightly instructed or corrected, we are guilty.

How my heart aches for the children of a nation that is so willfully blind! How I mourn the man of God that has abandoned the pulpit for fame and fortune! How I weep for the mothers who have killed their precious babies! Like Jeremiah, there is no end to my anguish over this arrogant, undisciplined nation! Father, what can I do!

Will You give me some who turn back before it is too late? Will You heed my tears and profit Your word? Will You not have mercy because of Who You are? Have we gone too far? Is it just too late? Father, yet have mercy for there are others like me who seek Your will. I am not alone in pursuit of Your deliverance. I am not alone in the desire to return.

Turn us back, Father, but do not completely destroy us. Rebuke us, Father, but do not remove us completely. Have mercy, Father, not because we deserve -- for surely we do not; but rather, have mercy, dear Father, because we are but dust and You the whirlwind of our destruction. Have mercy for You are just too much for us and we are completely -- utterly at Your mercy. I plead with You, Father. I beg at Your feet. Hear my pleas. Respond to my requests. Do not turn aside. Do not abandon us to our guilt.

In Yeshuah's precious name, amen and amen.
