Like Elijah

I have had some tell me that I am "too harsh", that I should be "nicer". I tell those who slaughter children the absolute truth of Scripture, and I do not hold back. God is angry. He hates the shedding of innocent blood. It is an abomination He hates (Pro 6:16, 17), and He calls those who do is wicked (Exo 23:7).  They are headed for hell, and I do not pretend otherwise. Some say that's mean. I say it's mean to let them traipse into hell unwarned.

Not only do I preach the truth of God's word onsite outside these pits of hell, I call out to the workers as they are going in. I tell them God is holy, exceedingly so. I warn them that He will not allow them in His heaven, because they are wicked in His eyes. I call on them to consider Who He really is and repent. My witness is part admonition, and part pleading. I really don't want them punished. I want them saved, but they cannot be saved until they stop partnering with the devil in slaughtering children. (Yes, I tell them that, too.)

Does this make them uncomfortable? You bet it does. It should, because God is not some weak-kneed pseudo-god that we can push around. No, He'll not be mocked. They will reap what they sow, and they are, after all, sowing torture and death into their field of life. So, they should be worried. I certainly would be.

However, to turn someone from as powerful a lie as abortion, we have to be flat out honest with them.  We have to quit pretending like this is just a "choice", that while it upsets God it doesn't make Him angry. It does make Him angry. It is a nation-killing offense. We should speak to them like this is so, because it is. (Deu 19:10) It brings the curses of God down upon those who kill, those who assist, and those who do nothing to stop it (Deu 28:15).

The other things I do assist the witness I bring. I take authority over the site when I arrive, then I bind, rebuke, and cast out the demonic entities. Then I pray, calling on God to send forth His waring angels to work according to His will, and that He make these workers of iniquity (clinic personnel) aware of who they partner with.

Does this work? You bet it does. They tremble when I show up. They get agitated and they agitate their prey. I believe this is why the Lord told me I was like Elijah. I confront them head on. But God has led me to do this, and He backs me up. They are really afraid of me. No, they are terrified of the God I serve. He sends mighty angels with me, and they come to do serious battle.

So what has been the result of this. Well, we now know that there has been quite a change in personnel. They had been showing clear signs of conviction, acting out outrageously. Now, many of them are just gone.

Listen, folks, this isn't about me. It is about using God's word and our Biblical authority wisely, but we have to be onsite to do these things. That is why we must get up and go. I do not recommend, though, that everyone try to take authority. Those who do not know who they are in Christ absolutely should not. These things are dangerous, and should only be confronted by those who have God's authority to do so.

How many death-pits can we shut down by speaking so? (Having to constantly replace their employees will be a real problem for them.) Likely all of them, because it isn't "us" that sends them packing. It's God answering the faith of our commitment.

Are You a Preacher?

So this morning a fellow-laborer asked me if I was a preacher. Without hesitation I answered, "Yes. Yes, I am. I had a problem originally, being a woman, but God said . . ."

He nodded, smiling, "That explains a lot."

Two years ago my answer would have been, "No, I just repeat what He tells me." Today, it's emphatically, "Yes!"

Not only am I comfortable with that title these days, but I am also quite comfortable teaching,  preaching, and ministering as one in that position. I get up each day asking the Lord to lead me in being the witness He would have me be -- reaching out to those I encounter as the Spirit wills. Now this has led to a wide variety of opportunities to His glory, and constant amazement on my behalf as He proves over and over again just how able He is to work with the truly willing. I, literally, just show up expecting Him to be Himself, and He never disappoints. It's one of those things I think far too many just do not "get" today -- that the God of the Bible truly is the exceedingly great "I AM".

We have so many false or pseudo heroes today. We have comic book supermen and women. We have imagined rescuers, fanciful enemies, and mythical wars. Some are so caught up in these superfluous worlds that they fail to realize we have very real extraordinary warriors, diabolical villains, and world-shattering wars around us all the time.

Seriously. At any given time there are angels -- of varying sizes and positions -- listening for faith to come out of our mouths. There are demons -- also of varying sizes and positions -- desperately trying to make us stumble or fall. And there are very real wars going on between those forces for the souls of men. The godly angels make our imaginary heroes look like children at play, and the demonic side make our villains appear childishly inept. It's hard not to wonder if the imaginations of man aren't just a little bit tainted by the reality that can only be seen spiritually.

Above it all God sits enthroned in Heaven. The Bible says we are like "grasshoppers" before Him (Isa 40:22). Yet, He waits, that He might show us compassion (Isa 30:18) We are insignificant puffs of dust in His hands, but He loved us so much that He sent His only Son to suffer and die, even to be humiliated, that we might be saved.

So, yes, I am a preacher, because the Great God of Heaven loved me so much that I am truly nothing if I fail to love Him back by taking the truth of His word to those who will hear it. How else are they to know? If no one shall take His word to them, how else are they to be saved? How else shall I glorify Him? I tell you the truth:  If I am silent, then I make a mockery of the sacrifice of His Son, my LORD.

Two years ago I would have fumbled my words, not knowing how to respond. I would have been uncomfortable with making such bold statements. Today I stand on the street and preach as loud and clearly as I possibly can -- without shame, without fear, without hesitation, and I am very much aware that the demons and principalities tremble when I do. What a difference a couple of years make.

Some Comments on "The Air of Heaven"

Some of you may know that I have written a book at God's bidding. It's called "The Air of Heaven", and deals with things He has shown me over the years -- things that many in the pulpit refuse to deal honestly with, things that are destroying our nation; but also, the truth of Who He is and who we are called to be.

What you may not know is that I have given several copies away to those in God's service, including some who quite well known. I did so in an attempt to draw them to addressing these issues in hopes it would bring the revival we need so badly. Sadly, most failed to appreciate what they had received.

Recently a sweet brother started to read and comment on the book. I thought I would share his comments here. Both comments are from Lowell Mahler.

The Air of Heaven
I am up to page 46.
Love this book Sister! There is absolutely no doubt that the Holy Spirit leads you and you listen to Him and obey Him. I love the way you write. God is really using you.

I am up to page 59. I have read books from Tozer, Moody, Wigglesworth, and many other preachers.

This book (The Air of Heaven) is a must read, for Christians that listen to and follow the Holy Spirit. So far, I would rate it A+. When I finish reading it, I plan on giving it my "review". I feel the Holy Spirit speaking to the reader in every page. Everyone should read this book ! I love it.

Truly, I am a simple believer, but by God's grace I have become His messenger. I believe that when those in leadership places fail to be true leaders, it is the common person's duty to stand up and replace them. I don't say this pridefully. Truth is I find it very shameful that our leaders who turn a blind eye and deaf ear to God's word for our time. It's embarrassing. However, I refuse to stand silently by when we can repent without them, and return to God's mercy.

Brothers and Sisters, God wants to forgive us. He's just waiting for us to repent. Read the book. Find out what we need to repent of. Find out why. Don't let their silence keep you in the dark.

Blessings,

Betty

What Should the Called Preach?

When we are sick, we take the medicine that our ailment requires. We don't take cough syrup for an upset stomach. We don't stop taking what we need to take what we want, either. No, we continue with the appropriate therapy until better.

Some think I teach too much on the shedding of innocent blood. Well, this nation is dying largely because we have shed innocent blood like God approved. We have angered Him greatly by misrepresenting His word, and Him. It is what ails us.

While it's true I do sometimes venture off this path, the truth is this is what God is saying. If I spoke for myself, it would be easy to find another subject to preach on. Since I do not speak for myself, I must continue to say what He tells me to.

It grieves me that so few grasp this reality. They want to have their ears tickled with the wonders His word presents us with, but we are dying because so many refuse to take the medicine He attempts to serve us.

I think folks should be much more concerned with those who aren't preaching this. They should wonder who they're listening to, because this is the message for the time, and there'll be no other until we either repent sincerely or God finishes His judgment on our lack of regard for Him.

Who IS This Uncircumcised Philistine?

And David spoke to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach of Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? -- 1Sam 17:26

Today the giant is abortion and many quake in their boots for fear of standing against it. The same people who have been prolific and generous about seeking His blessings are hiding under their couches from the disrespectful, God-bashing giant of our day. History truly does repeat itself.

David was unafraid of Goliath, because he knew God would be with Him. He had been in the trenches, and he knew that God would enable him to take Goliath down. Goliath's mistake was daring to dishonor the Holy God of Heaven. David's response was exactly what it should have been, "Oh, NO, you don't!" David brought God to the fight with the intent to kill the giant, and kill the giant he did.

In my opinion the primary reason the pro life community hasn't killed the abortion giant is because we have failed to bring God to the fight with the intent of killing it. We poke at it. We try to incrementally take it down, but we fail to really war against it with all we have expecting God to destroy it for us. We're not working in Davidic faith. We're not really working in faith at all.

Part of the problem has always been that far too many professing Christians are not truly pro life. No, they're quasi-life. They have so many exceptions and so many excuses that they don't really intend for anything to happen at all. Abortion doesn't actually bother them. So, they're not really working at all. Others don't believe miracles still happen. So, they don't really want to bring the Spirit to the fight. No, they believe it's a battle to be fought without expectation of winning. So, they're never going to win. Still others are trusting in their programs or themselves . . . the point is: we're not running at the giant, expecting our weapons to bring it down.

Listen, God has not changed, and abortion has no more power than what we give to it. Seriously. God can take it down just as He took down Goliath. He's just been waiting for someone to come to the battlefield who truly believes He is able.

I am looking at a number of different ways of answering the disrespect shown our God and His word. Folks, this ad was hateful and ugly. Failing to respond is unthinkable. We need to take up the sword of the Spirit and charge it with the full intent to see it abolished. This is our God. If we'll not stand for Him, what do we stand for? Are not our claims of being His mere empty words?

Actions speak louder than words. Being silent is going to be seen as apathy at best, but He might well take it as proof we no longer truly love Him. I don't know about you, but I cannot abide even the idea that He would feel so rejected by me. I just can't. So, I'll be on the battlefield. If I have to preach it on the street corners, I'm taking this fight to them. They don't get to disrespect my God like He is nothing, not on my watch. I invite you to join me. This is as serious as it's ever going to get. This is the line. Make no mistake, the side you come down is going to matter.

All in for Him,

Betty

Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!

We've had so much rain here that the yard is a swamp. Yesterday, we could not even see the driveway culvert! So, when I saw clouds approaching this morning I hurried off to the local pit as quickly as I could.

Fortunately, today was a "workers only" day. There may have been one or two clients/victims, but various signs led me to believe there could not have been more than that. So, I took authority, pleaded with God to intervene inside and left -- hoping to return later in the day.

All the way home I pled with God to hold back the storms until I could preach the word He had lain on my heart. I was on fire for Him. The Word had kindled within me and it had to come out! By the time I pulled up in the drive, I was so wrapped up in what He had shown me that I did not even notice I was being watched until my son knocked on the window. Of course that led to my needing to explain why I nearly jumped out of my skin. The good news is that the storms did hold off and I did return to preach.

Now, I never really stop to think about how it sounds or what folks might think once I start speaking. No, I'm too busy concentrating on what God has said and how He wants it delivered. I'm ALL about Him. People pass me on the sidewalk, going and coming, laughing and talking; and I just keep right on preaching. Unless I'm stopping for air, I'm not the least concerned with anything or anyone, but the Word.

So, I'm preaching, I getting into it, and I stop just momentarily to breathe, and this lovely lady is suddenly standing right there next to me smiling ever so sweetly at me. And she says, "You know they hear you in there, right? You know you're having an affect on them, right? God bless you, honey!"

I nodded and assured her I knew, but it was just the sweetest little outtake on life as a street preacher. She couldn't have been more charming or more earnest about encouraging me, and I truly appreciated her encouragement. I also couldn't help but wonder just how long the poor dear had waited on me to realize she was even there.

Anyway, I had been having some trouble with a sore throat, but it never sounds it like it when I preach. I barely have a singing voice, but I do not need an amplifier to preach. After this woman walked on, my voice rose even stronger and I continued to preach even longer in the power of the Spirit. By the time I left I knew I had given all I had to reach them. I know that God is angry enough, and has been for some time to literally take them out for shedding innocent blood. So, it's very important to me that I give everything into calling them to repentance.

None of us know when the day will dawn that will be our last. How do you want to go out? I used to think I wanted to die safe in my bed. You know what? I have know a lot of evil people who died "safe" in their beds. No, I'm a type of David. I'd rather die running at the giant with my little bag of stones. It was hot, humid and I was completely exhausted by the time I left. I felt like David must have running at Goliath. I threw every stone I had at them, and if the LORD is willing, I'll do it again tomorrow.

Folks the pro-death squad has many followers. They have enough money to build million dollar extermination pits. Word is this pit has done just that in Oklahoma. They are unafraid of the new law passing. They certainly do not fear the pro life effort. Why would they? So many only give it lip service. No, they are busily spreading death, polluting our land, and bringing the wrath of God down on our nation.

Godly pro lifers appear to be a dying breed. We labor hard, footing the bill from our own pockets, but we are the hope for this land. Consider what it will be like in this nation if abortion isn't curbed soon. Already it has brought our nation to its knees. The time to stand is now. One thing is for certain: Because we've had so little regard for the brutality shown the children, we will reap brutality. Is that really what you want? For yourselves . . . for your children . . . for your grandchildren?

I know some believe God will have mercy on them because they are "His". The truth, however, is He is going to be much harder on those claiming to be His, but doing nothing to rescue the children. Why? Because we disgrace Him, we make a mockery of the cross. We were to be His light in this darkness, not indulge the darkness.

I pray He open your eyes. I pray He soften your heart. I pray you repent.

Faith, From The Air of Heaven

Christian faith is total confidence in God. We do not just think that He will do what He has promised. We know He will. By faith we submit all that we are into His care. We trust in the blessed assurance of His faithfulness.

Christian hope is not like ordinary hope. Ordinary hope expects without knowing. Christian hope is certain because of Whom we hope in. It is hope that enables us to sing even in the valley, putting wings to our souls.

Christian love is the love of God in us. By His love we are able to care for the unlovable, recognizing that we were once just as undeserving. In love He tells us to ask, seek, and knock. He knows that each time we ask and receive, or seek and find, or knock and have the door open before us, our faith grows. In the same way faith grows our love. The more we recognize His answers, the more we love Him for His efforts towards us.

So we expect confidently that He will redeem us from the dead, knowing that He loved us even while we were yet lost in our sins, and invite the lost among us to know the joy of belonging to the One in Whom true hope dwells. So that in love by faith through hope we please the Spirit of God in us, and serve our Father in Heaven as little children should.

. . . but the righteous will live by his faith . . . Hab 2:4

Belonging to Him means living by faith. Drawing near to Him is by nature a faith building experience. James tells us that faith without works is dead (Jas 2:17). That's because real faith moves us to action. If we truly believe that God is in control and a keeper of His promises, then we will live like we believe it.

Like Noah we will build a boat on dry land when no rain has ever fallen. Like Abraham we will offer up the only son we ever hope to have. Like Moses we will dare to stand before powerful leaders with nothing more than a walking stick by our side. Like David we will attack our Goliaths even when we have nothing but a bag of stones to throw at them. Real faith doesn't sit on the sidelines hoping someone will come along and move the mountain. Real faith tells the mountain to get up and move itself.

"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him." Mar 11:23

How many times have you actually expected God to lead you? Understand, if you did act like you expected Him to do so, you did not actually believe He would. Here's another one: How many times have you spoken to the mountain in your way? Most just don't. They don't because they don't really believe this promise. We should believe, though, because this is the Lord speaking. Some may discount His words, but I believe He choose them carefully.

Then the disciples came to Yeshua privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?"

And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you." Mat 17:19-20

This promise would not be in the New Testament if it were not intended for us. If we can't live like we expect God to honor His promises, what can we do? Think about it. We are to be His light in this dark world. What kind of light are we really shedding if we do not live like His promises are real to us?

This is the danger of ignoring the supernatural effect of God on our lives. When we don't believe that God still speaks to us, that the gifts of the Spirit are still available to us, that we can ask and receive, etc.; we also do not believe that God can or will move our mountains. We have ruled out the supernatural, and mountain moving is supernatural. Then we look at the world around us and assure ourselves that things are the way they are because God wants it that way. No, the Lord expects us to believe Him

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in My name, and I will do it. – Joh 14:12-14

Where are our greater things? We are happy with mediocre. We don't have "greater", because we're not willing to have that kind of faith. Yet, even obedience comes from faith.

Through Him and for His name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. Rom 1:5

If you think about it, this actually fits, because we have tolerated disobedience like it was a calling; rather than, condemning it for the failing it is. If we don’t have the faith to obey, we certainly won’t have enough faith for greater things.

Too often we want to have just enough faith to squeak by. Yet, the Lord Himself urges us to greater things. He did supernatural things. The disciples did supernatural things. The Spirit does supernatural things through those who give themselves over to Him. All these things were and are done to the glory of God. Yet, today many are afraid of the supernatural! I believe some think this way because they have bought into the idea that acting in the supernatural is about the servant. It isn't. No, living as though we truly believe God is about His supernatural attributes and glorifying Him.

If I touch you and you are healed, I have not healed you. No, that healing would have had to come from God. If I speak blessings on you and you are blessed, I would not have blessed you. How would I do that? No, God would have to bless you through me. I am just a woman. I have no power to bless. Only He does. (Obviously, I'm talking about the kind of blessings we get from God; rather than, just making you feel better.) Again, if I were to speak to your mountain, and it were to remove itself; I would not have moved your mountain. No, God alone moves mountains.

So, if I were to do all these things, it would not be me that you should glorify. No, we both should glorify and credit Him. It is by His mercy that God gives gifts to men and women, and not because we deserve it; but rather, by His mercy. Therefore, whatever wonders He delights to do among us, we must make absolutely certain to credit Him with.

Every Knee Shall Bow

These days some are so caught up in their own perceived superiority that they just do not grasp the reality of God's pre-eminent control over His creation. They are so weighed down with the reasoning of man that they are completely off-the-grid ignorant about God. To them He is some weak-kneed, old fool that need not be respected or feared. They think "every knee will bow" is just wishful thinking.

Some of us know that we will bow because we are so enraptured with Him already. It'll be a loving, submissive swoon -- an, "Oh, my LORD, my Master, joy-of-my-soul" acknowledgement. Like in old movies, where the servant is so willfully subjected that they cannot even look up out of respect, we will fall at His feet in complete adoration.

Others believe that when the LORD quoted Isaiah in Romans (14:11) He was saying that we would feel compelled to acknowledge Him for who He is purely because we would suddenly realize who He is. To some extent I believe this to be true, but I also know that there will be something even more impressive at work. The key lies in creation itself, and it is something we all need to be feasting on.

The formula for spiritual acuity is input equal outgo. What you feed your spirit shows up in what you say and do. In other words, if you predominantly dine on filth, you will gravitate to filth. If you routinely consider God's amazing abilities, you will live expecting Him to be amazing. One of the best places to see how truly amazing He is lies in how He created everything that is.

"And God said . . . " Gen 1:3

Now, I asked God regarding this years ago and He showed me a vision. I'm not going to try to qualify what I saw. I just going to tell you what I saw. That's because I can't explain it in any other fashion except to say that I asked of Him like a child and He showed me like a Father explaining the inexplicable to His child.

So, there He was standing in pitch darkness which was absolutely void of anything but that darkness, and He opened up His mouth and out came . . . well, everything that He called to being. Planets just popped out, and went swirling away from Him, suns too. One after another they just suddenly existed at His command. I was completely spellbound, giddy with delight. So, I know -- and no one will ever be able to take it from me -- that He literally spoke everything into being.

Sometime later I had another experience -- actually I've had several of these -- where I felt the power of God in my own person. At one point He touched me ever so gently and I was propelled off of my sofa to a standing position. I had been extremely weak; but afterwards, I was suddenly quite strong.

That touch, and others, was on a molecular level. Quite literally, He caused my molecules to rush to obey Him. His presence excited them. It was like being able to feel the very atoms of my being as the electrons rushed around their respective nuclei.

Now, there is no real way to know if atoms even existed at creation. For all we know God could have created them then, too. The point is that when He speaks the most basic of things absolutely rush to respond, each piece building on another with lightning speed to conform to His wishes.

So, when He assured us "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess", what He was really saying was that our knees will bend, and our tongues will confess whether we like it or not. The most basic part of our makeup will see to it. There won't be any hesitation. There won't be any argument or discussion. We'll bow. We absolutely will confess. It's a "done deal" even now. To not do so would be like the earth refusing to orbit the sun on it's own authority. Such authority does not exist. So, the earth will not resist. It cannot. Neither can we.

Now, tell me about your mountain. I guarantee you if it's not moving, you've missed something. It has NO choice but to comply if you are acting according to God's will, and in right relation with Him. It cannot resist. It cannot because it consists of those same basic elements, elements that God gave us authority over.

And Yeshua said unto them, "Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, 'Remove hence to yonder place'; and it shall remove. And Nothing shall be impossible unto you." -- Mat 17:20

Speak to your mountain again. If it doesn't move, go back to God and ask Him where you missed it. That mountain has no say in the matter unless you're out of line with God's will, or low on faith. If it's faith, ask God to "help your unbelief" (Mar 9:24). If it's because you're out of line, you better get that straightened out or not being able to move mountains won't be your only problem.

It is time to be bold for the LORD. We need to be working and living in mountain-moving faith, but it takes real commitment -- disciple style commitment. We need to determine to not just be obedient, but actively working according to His will to His glory.

Blessings,

Betty
