Then Judas, which had betrayed Him, when he saw that He was condemned; repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders; saying, "I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood . . . Mat 27:3,4

Shedding innocent blood is such a grave sin that even Judas recognized it, and was appalled at himself. IF churches taught the Gospel correctly, more would be like him -- repenting and ceasing to kill the children in the womb. Instead they have chosen the wickedness of silent agreement.

ALL will be punished for ALL are guilty. Just as the chief priests and elders will for sacrificing our LORD; so will today's butchers and enablers pay. Be careful that you are not one of them, even by silent inaction. Get up! Get out! Go and plead for little baby lives!!

I realized recently that I can hardly talk about my life without having to include the LORD. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's a bother to do so. No, I'm saying that He is so much a part of my life that almost every story must include Him to be complete:

"I did this, because the LORD showed me this; or The LORD led me here; or This happened because they misrepresented His word; or His Spirit welled up in me and I began to preach/teach/call them to repentance" . . . and on and on and on.

It's neat, because I can remember when "I" was the center of my universe. It was a miserable time. Not sure I did anything right! Now, even in the struggles and tears, His presence comforts me and I, in turn, am able to bless people! That is instead of making their lives more miserable, or complicated -- as self-centered people always do; I am a well of hope and joy to many. (Obviously, that's not my true nature. No, it's His coming through me.)

So, when people hate me for refusing to stop speaking about Him I think: "But wait a minute! He's the BEST part of the story. You're asking me to leave out what makes the story worth listening to!"

Seriously. Life is just that much better focused on Him.<strike></strike>

That means we come in contact with those who are possessed or oppressed all the time. In addition, demons constantly roam among us looking for someone to afflict. There really is an epic, ongoing battle for the souls of men.

If we are fully His, we can and should rebuke those demons. If you are spiritually aware of them, remember who you are and do not be silent in your opposition. They are far more afraid of ...you than most realize.

However, in regards to possession/oppression we should never forget that unless the one delivered then chooses to be His, those demons will most likely come back. The "doorway" will not have been sealed. So, they'll come back, bringing some "friends" with them. This cycle can go on indefinitely. So, be on your guard, and keep taking the fight to them.

If you run a ministry or work in outreach, you should consider this just part of the job. People must be freed from demonic influence to have the opportunity to change, and demons will come against anyone who tries to interfere with their dragging folks to hell. So, it's serious warfare.

It can get very intense. Fortunately, we are not standing against them in our own power; but His. Neither do we stand alone, but surrounded by His warrior angels. That is why the demons tremble when we oppose them. They see all the hordes of heaven with their swords drawn! They see the LORD in His role as our Deliverer! Is it any wonder they run screaming?<strike></strike>

The intentionally sinful think Christians judgmental. What they fail to realize is that we are in love with our LORD. He law is law to us. So, when He calls something wicked, we cannot but agree with Him.

The lost think Christians self-righteous. They don't understand that our only righteousness comes from Him, binding us to His will. So, it isn't about our holiness. It is about His.

The unsaved see Christians as unloving. What they do not grasp is that it isn't love to pretend God will not prevail. No, love offends in order to pull them from His certain wrath.

Some believe we are obligated to love and accept them while they remain in sin. They either don't care or don't realize it would be like a lamb trying to have dinner with a lion. Not that we don't have defenses. We certainly do. However to use them could cost the "friend" everything, and most Christians do not want that.

We can love the sinner, but still be horrified or repulsed by their sin. We know what our LORD went through to deliver them from it. So, it isn't just the sin, but the suffering He endured that they have rejected.

There really is a dividing line. Once one chooses the devil, one has deliberately separated from those who choose God. Typically, though, they still blame the one they separated from for the separation.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land. -- 2 Chr 7:13-14

So,<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> it is He we have to deal with. He uses our leaders, our weather, our enemies -- anything and anyone He choses. But it is He who threatens our very existence.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The thing that some miss is the intensity required in this Scripture. The humility required is not merely limited to fasting. It is taking a position of total surrender, a letting go of all things related to our comfort and ease for His correcting rod. Like little children, we must recognize that we are helpless without Him -- meaning we will even accept punishment rather than depart from Him.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The prayer we are called to is an attitude of prayer. We are to dwell in it, calling out to Him without ceasing. These need not be eloquent or lengthy. "Abba, Father!" works. "What would You have me do?" is one of my favorites. The point is to be persistent, present, and diligent. Don't stop until He responds.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Add to these an intense desire to draw ever nearer to Him, an earnest need to know where we have missed it, a willingness to be completely broken, and an eagerness to turn from whatever sin He reveals. So the intensity required is profound. We can't move Him to mercy by mouthing the words or committing to social gatherings. We have to get completely honest and exceedingly serious about our position before Him.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Our Lord takes utterly useless beings and turns us into useful, productive servants, but He cannot change us until we are willing to be changed.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">That is what this Scripture from 2 Chronicles is really about for us -- the importance of returning to right priorities. I cannot promise that our nation will be saved. <span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The promise of 2 Chronicles was arguably made to Solomon and the Israelites upon the dedication of the temple, a specific promise for a specific people. <span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">However, I can tell you that His call to me has included forgiveness and provisions for those who earnestly apply its principles. Further, it is consistent with Who He is for Him to be merciful when a people return to Him.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">However, even if our nation is destroyed we will fare much better personally for having returned Him to His rightful position of complete authority in our own lives. Did you not have to submit to God, taking the LORD as your Master to be saved? Now, granted, that submission was not enough to earn you your salvation. Only His sacrifice could do that. However, you did do something. You submitted. You chose. Folks, like it or not that is action. Just saying the words isn't enough. You must actively submit. You must choose.

How then you do expect the children of abortion to be saved by words only? Obviously, in most cases not even the words are being said. That is most professing Christians won't even discuss or pray over abortion, much less do anything about it.

Taking a stand for life is like the act of being saved. It starts with the commitment to obedience. It starts with submission. Many do not realize what they actually have -- in ignoring the children -- is a submission problem. However, that is exactly what the issue is.

We are called to uphold His laws. Part of that is the command to take up the case of the innocent as if to win it, to prevent the shedding of innocent blood.

Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will NOT acquit the wicked. Exo 23:7

Defend the poor and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Psa 82:3

That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. Deu 19:20

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Jam 4:17

Exodus assures us that we are not to kill the innocent, or God Himself will consider us wicked. Psalms calls us to take up their case as if to win it. Deuteronomy warns us that failing to do so destroys our nation. And James warns us that inaction is not acceptable.

I have found that once we make the decision to take action, God leads. Like salvation, we surrender, and He wins the battle. In man's view, I have saved many babies. In reality, God granted that I reach those mothers. All I did was show up and be submissive to Him.

Be submissive today. Take up the children's case. Defying God never ends well.<strike></strike>

If you have a prodigal child, you know what it is to suffer. We always want the best for our children, but sometimes our children choose the worst. Sometimes they can be so earnest in their pursuit of evil, that to be around them is to court disaster.

It's never easy to let go of a child. Even when they're grown it is only natural to want a relationship with them, to care what happens to them. We don't stop wanting to cuddle and love them just because they're old enough to care for themselves.

Most children realize this. They know we care, and how far we'd go to see to their needs. That can lead to them seeking to take unreasonable advantage. What we need to remember is what God's word says about erring children.

And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death. Exo 21:15

And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. Exo 21:17

Now, clearly, we do not live in Old Testament times. No one is going to kill their child, nor should they. However, continuing with an erring child, especially an older child, who has shown a willingness to abuse their parents, is not something we should do, either. I know it's hard. No one wants to be separated from their children. However, if we truly love them, and they behave in such a manner, it is more loving to walk away from them than it would be to continue with them.

Why? Because if they are willing to curse, and physically abuse a parent, they have already crossed the line. (Please note: I am only speaking here of older children, that is grown children. The pre-adult child should be appropriately disciplined.) The problem is continuing the relationship will more likely cause them to sin even more, and there is only so much God will tolerate. (Seriously, folks, God's hand on us has never ceased. He still judges, and removes people daily.)

I'm just saying, there's a kindness in walking away from such a child. If you don't want them judged, let them go their own way, and leave them to it in every way except prayer. (I don't think I have to tell parents they should continue to pray for their children; rather, I'm just acknowledging that this is so.) This way they have the opportunity to recognize their mistake and turn back.

Remember the Prodigal Son parable. (Luk 15:11-32) The father did not go chasing after the son who walked away. No, he let him go. Even if they choose to never return, at least you'll know you did not encourage them to sin even more. It's a bitter pill, filled with anguish, regret, and sorrow; but it is still the best medicine for the disease.<strike></strike>

Just imagine what would have happened to Israel if there had been no David. David was a man of action. Goliath's disrespect for God angered him. He didn't go out to fight because he thought he was tough. He went out because his God had been insulted, and he knew his God was able.

Too many think being Christian is about sitting in a pew, listening to a sermon. It isn't. It is about being David in a world full of Goliaths. We take the fight to them, because our God is worthy. H...e deserves our allegiance. He deserves their respect.

I take my sword and go to the nearby pit of hell as often as I can. No, I'm not a David, but I surely fight like one. No demon gets to slaughter God's creation on my watch without being rebuked. I won't let the children die without trying to save them, either.

What about you? If pew warming is all you want to do, understand that the time will come when the LORD is going to want to know why you felt no need to show up at the battlefield. He will ask you why you failed to understand His word regarding caring for the helpless, the fatherless. That's going to be much more intense than fighting for the children's lives -- way more.

Ask the LORD tonight to reveal the truth of this to you. Repent. Get off your pew, and get out to the field. Children are dying. What do you really have to do that could be more important?

Defend the poor and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Psa 82:3

The ultra-rich do not care for the poor. They like to look like they do, but their real agenda is to prosper themselves at the poor's expense. Their gods are money and self. They are the devil's own. The evil that they do is world-ending, because they would destroy everything to prosper themselves. Many cater to them, hoping to get a "piece of the pie". They, too, give up their souls to money and self.

The "grand" scheme is to depopulate the world. To reduce the population to just enough people to provide for and serve them. If the masses wake-up and realize what they are doing, it will bring unprecedented war. That is war of such dimensions that very few will survive. If the masses remain asleep; the attacks on our food supply, health care, and insect life (like bees) will continue until few poor survive. Either way, the ultra-rich will get that part of what they seek.

What they will not get is the ability to enjoy their "victory". No, because they will be dead, too. In their "supremacy" they will find out that there really is Someone vastly more supreme, because God will see to it that they reap what they have sown. Their underground bunkers will not save them. Their vast resources will not save them. Their hired guns will not save them. Nothing will save them from the wrath of God. Nothing.

Is there any way to stop it? Yes. I believe we could. However, what is required is highly unlikely. I mean if professing Christianity refuses to wake up to save their own nations, why would they wake up to save the world? I honestly don't expect they will.

So, like the ancient Israelites, the enemy will be allowed to come in (many are already here) and plunder and kill as we reap what we have sown. Bloodshed follows bloodshed (Eze 35:6), and we have silently allowed millions to be brutally, savagely, and mercilessly killed. Genghis Khan has nothing on us.<strike></strike>

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them. Wherefore should they say among the people, Where IS their God? Joe 2:17

We truly do need to weep, fast, and pray. This nation is far from out of trouble; rather, we are overrun with those who deeply desire to destroy us. Let us come together, choosing God -- even His correction, lest He destroy us completely.

I know a young man who has been chased by homosexuals for many years. They have become so emboldened that they would chase him all the way back to his mother. This literally happened almost every time the family left the house. The only thing that stopped it was the boy became a man, a man who's "not on your best day" look finally got the message across.

The point is society used to protect children from such monsters. Now, it gives them over to them. So, they have no shame, no regard for their choices, and no respect for God.

This is a sign, folks, of how far our nation has turned from God. We allowed innocent children to be slaughtered in their mother's wombs. We held our tongues, and let it happen. Most churches still do nothing to combat this nation-killing atrocity. So, now, none of our children are safe.
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful. But became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools . . . Rom 1:21, 22

Indeed we are fools to give our children over to those who's great desire is to destroy them.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> We live in such a time today. People do not want to know. They love their sin, and want to remain in it. <span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Let God arise. Let His enemies be scattered. Let them also that hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> Psa 68:1, 2
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> These verses sound harsh. They reflect an attitude that is unseemly in today's culture. We want the wicked among us, because many of our loved ones are wicked. They deserve His judgment, but we do not want them to be judged. We want them to be saved.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">However, this is who God actually is. The wicked will not stand before Him. That is they will not remain. He will vanquish them. He will punish them severely, and He will not allow them to continue among His children.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> If we love them more than God's holiness, He will vanquish us, too. We will have chosen wickedness over Him, and wickedness has no place with Him.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory.<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> Psa 97:6
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> The proof that God is exactly who He claims to be is all around us. Just because some choose to ignore it does not make it cease to be so. The truth is found in every atom, every cell, every body, every continent, every world, and every galaxy. The tiniest parts scream Him. The largest ones proclaim Him. To miss Him we have to choose not to look, to not want to know.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> O, come wayward sinner, the time of judgment nears.
Do not be caught without Him, trapped in the pit of tears.
For His way is merciful when we to Him submit;
But judgment is certain if we fail to commit.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> Being God's is not about belonging to a church or organization. It is about being truly His. The disciples are our example and they gave everything for Him. It's not a walk down the aisle, repeat after me thing. It's a lifelong commitment. He died for us. We live for Him.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> Today, I encourage everyone to consider their family members who are clearly lost. Everyone has at least one, most have many. Consider today how you will feel when that last trumpet sounds, and they are being dragged away by demons to hell's pits. Don't you want to know you tried? Offer Christ today. Be His light in their darkness. I can't promise it will make that last day easier, but knowing you tried will certainly beat realizing you never made the effort.<strike></strike>

However, the organized church has epically ignored the children of abortion. That is a very profound truth. It makes a very clear statement. It says that they are more interested in themselves than His heart or His will.

So, when you look at a church, look to see if they make any effort. If they are willing to stand against conformity to battle this giant, they understand something few do in this day and age -- that God expects obedience.

There are many "feel good" churches out there. They sell themselves well, and their leaders generally live comfortably. Huge crowds flock to them. Donations flow readily.

Sometimes they prop themselves up with "works of the Spirit". Sometimes, they tout their pseudo-holiness, but there is still a spiritual emptiness. Why? Because they do not honestly regard the heart of God. Sure they speak in tongues, "perform miracles", praise Him loudly, and appear to honor Him. It's quite a show. However, in many cases it is just a show.

God loves the children. He weeps over them. It breaks His heart that we haven't rushed to their rescue in great earnest. He has called many to work to save them. He called to the organized church, too, but they rejected Him. Most did so because they genuinely considered themselves more important. That is, it was more important for them to continue and grow than that the children He created live. (Do let that sink in.)

Folks, being part of a group just to be a part of something isn't always smart. Attending to be counted as having attended isn't either. God has rejected the organized church. He has also rejected many who call themselves His. The truth is He is exceedingly angry with them, because they failed to regard His heart. And, no, it's not just where the children of abortion are concerned.

There is also the love of money brought to you by the prosperity "gospel" lie, and the rejection of sin as an issue via hyper-grace. Both, though, are tied to abortion; because children are killed to "save" money, and abortion is not called out for the sin it is. Which is why I start with abortion. Ending it would go a long way towards reducing the other two.

I don't care how well you speak in tongues. I don't care how many you've healed, how many books you write, how large a congregation you lead . . . I don't care if you have the greatest silver tongue in the galaxy. And guess what? Neither does God. He cares about obedience.

IF you LOVE ME, you WILL OBEY Me. Joh 14:15

We are required to take up the case of the helpless innocent as if to win it. We are not required to build glorious buildings, or maintain or support self-centered organizations. Truth be told if the Spirit is truly what you seek, these things aren't the answer anyway!

If you really want the Spirit of God to be poured out upon you, seek HIM! Read your Bible. Pray. Go out to witness. Offer help to the helpless. Adore Him. Praise Him. Spend great lengths of time with Him. Trust me when I say you'll not be disappointed.

No, I'm not saying it isn't good to gather. I'm saying look first at whom you gather with. If they don't regard the children, neither do they regard Him -- not by my word, but by His.

Because thou sayest, 'I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing'; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked . . . Rev 3:17

We ARE the Laodicean church. We are so full of ourselves, and yet, so empty. We have great earthly riches. (Though God has stripped much of it away for our insolence.) Yet, because we regard not His heart, we do not have Him. Wake up, Brothers and Sisters. Depart from those who do not obey Him. Be not partnered with them, lest you be punished as they will be.
<strike></strike>
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08303549389432555791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3779956955195823382.post-17331773399336696402017-04-29T14:32:00.002-07:002017-04-29T14:32:34.031-07:00Listen to GodToo often we blame our troubles on the "end times". More often they come from what we have sown in our own field of life, and what we have sown comes directly out of our hearts.

Be NOT deceived. God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Gal 6:6, 7

Many are busy sowing a lack of regard for life in their field of life. They claim the children of abortion are not their problem. Yet, God assures us that a lack of concern for the shedding of innocent blood brings bloodshed upon us.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee. Sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. Eze 35:6

If we had truly hated bloodshed, we would have put an end to it long ago. Instead what we have seen is an epic disregard, a disregard that has led to our nation being absolutely covered in innocent blood. We're literally drowning in it spiritually.

Others are busy chasing a pile of gold. They give their lives to the pursuit of riches. Yet, riches will not save anyone. Rich and poor alike are destined to the coffin. Only the saved will move on to Heaven, but to be saved the LORD must be our Master.

No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve both God and mammon. Mat 6:24

Still others live for self -- believing that whatever they decide to do is acceptable. To that end, they allow themselves whatever wickedness their heart desires, and that wickedness eventually overcomes and blinds us.

The heart is deceitful above ALL things, and DESPERATELY wicked. Who can know it? I the LORD search the heart. I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jer 17:9, 10

The point is that sin begins in the spiritual realm of the heart. First we consider sin in our hearts, then that sin is carried out in our bodies or by our actions. It's conceived in the heart. So, we must guard our hearts, making His word and His will our focus.

I used to know a woman who had several children. The chaos was astounding. However, I loved the way she would get her children's attention. She would say, "Listen to Mommy. Listen for my voice." strongly emphasizing the word "Listen".

This is exactly how we should attend to our hearts. We should be listening for and to His voice. Now, granted God does not speak audibly all the time. However, we can still hear His voice all the time through His word. All we have to do is open the Bible and seek Him out.

Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you; for everyone that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Mat 7:7, 8

If we truly desire to please and honor Him, we must let Him be Lord our hearts. We must be willing, even eager, to allow Him to cut out the wicked desires of our hearts and replace them with a deep, abiding desire to please Him. We are not called to trust in our own ability to think or reason.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isa 55:8, 9

No, we are called to "Listen" to Him. Seek Him out today. Diligently desire Him. There is a wealth of loving comfort to be found in staying closely attune to His will. Avail yourself of it, and do not be found listening to your heart without it.
Heartbreaking experience on the way home from the pit today.

A middle-aged, black woman was begging on the streets. I was in a hurry, but the LORD showed me her heart and I just could not drive on by.

She looked up and saw me, then turned her face downwards -- clearly thinking I wouldn't care at all about her. Her whole demeanor was that of someone who had been kicked all her life.

So, I stopped traffic, dug through my purse, and pulled out some cash. When I rolled down the window, I let His love flow through me as I handed her what I had. "God bless you, honey," I said.

There we were both in tears. Me, that she would be so certain she wouldn't matter to me; and her, because she realized she does matter to people like me.

My prayer is that by His grace she'll realize skin is not the measuring stick some claim it is, and that the Great God of Heaven loves ALL His children.

Thank YOU, LORD, for allowing me to be YOU to this dear sister!<strike></strike>

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. Mat 10:41

One of the things being said today is that there are no more true prophets, because God no longer speaks. However, this is the LORD speaking. Why would He encourage those listening to attend to prophets if there aren't any? He wouldn't. No, but He knew there would come some who would deny any direction He gave beyond the Bible.

Now, to be certain any word given by a prophet must be in line with Scripture. It must fit with what He has already given us. Some say that means He has nothing new to say. However, the abortion nightmare is proof they are wrong.

With abortion the organized church is guilty before God for insisting they need to nothing to save the children. Yet, Scripture says otherwise -- in many, many places. So, God ordained people like me to testify to the church of its guilt. They, naturally, responded by claiming I could not speak for God, because He no longer speaks -- and, if He did, it would not be to a woman.

Well, both are blatant lies of the devil. However, we live in the age of the Laodicean church -- which prefers to having its ears tickled to actual obedience. Church leaders would much rather keep their members than teach them the uncomfortable truth.

FYI: Yes, I looked it up. This verse really is talking about prophets, those who hear directly from God. The Greek word means "a proclaimer of a divine message".
In today's Christian society we no longer take care of those who preach at God's call unless they do so under denominational authority. Denominations do not see abortion, for instance, as their problem. In short, if the disciples were sent out today, they would be homeless and hungry.

In ancient times the worship of the "goddess" was rather wide spread. Along comes Constantine and we have the worship of Mary. This is in fact what Constantine did. He took pagan beliefs, washed them with quasi-Christianity, and insisted that the world change to suit him. Many, if not most, of his early converts were by force -- submit or die.

Truth is Catholicism hasn't changed that much since Constantine brought it to bear. Even though we don't have the Inquisition, many will fight you over their adoration of Mary, and "supremacy" of their church. Sadly, though, few actually care about an actual relationship with Christ.

The devil's crafty. He knows that people love a good show, and prefer a leader they can see to one they can't. He also knows there's no salvation in ANYONE or ANYTHING except Christ. So, he entertains them, and gives them a "mission" (protect the church at all costs); while seeing to it they never actually get saved.

I love my Catholic brothers and sisters, but I would that they would come away from the deception before them. The ONLY way to heaven is through Christ. Mary was not, and is not god. She never was. No, she's just the goddess reworked. She's not listening to your prayers, nor coming to your rescue. Only God can do that, and His name is Yeshua the Christ.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Act 4:12<strike></strike>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">One thing to remember when you see someone using Scripture from different parts of the Bible to support a teaching is that Scripture actually does support itsel<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">f. While we should not be picking verses at random, and, certainly, verses that do not belong together should not be considered together; basic truths are consistent from Genesis through Revelation.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The command to stand against the shedding of innocent is one of those truths. To start with, God created man in order to have an ongoing relationship with him (Gen 3:8,9), making him to procreate (Gen 1:27,28). He was horrified at Cain for killing Abel (Gen 4:10, 11). And He caused those who recorded the Scriptures to use words (ben, OT; brephos, NT) that included the children in the womb. So, when He said, "Thou shalt not kill" (Exo 20:13), He actually meant "Thou shalt not kill the children in the womb", as well.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">There are in fact many other Scriptures that cover murder -- which is what abortion is to God -- and, because of the careful groundwork laid in Genesis, we know that the children were included in each and every admonishment (Gen 9:5). In addition, there are several verses that point directly at the shedding of innocent blood (Deu 19:10, 27:25; Jer 7:6-7). They make it very clear that God considers abortion a wicked, abomination that only a stiff-necked, disobedient people would allow (Exo 23:7; Pro 6:16,17; Eph 5:11; Jam 4:17).

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">So, why do so many ignore this nation destroying atrocity? Sadly, in many cases it is for the same reason the Pharisees wanted to see the LORD crucified. They were and are more concerned with what they want than with what He commands. They literally prefer holding a church service without God to having to obey God's call to actively take a stand -- having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (2 Tim 3:5). In reality they are what James referred to as "hearers only" (Jam 1:22). They love to appear holy, but do not truly desire to be holy.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Look at your church. Look closely. If they do not have or support a viable pro life outreach, ask why. If they say anything that implies they do not consider it their duty, perhaps you should find another place of worship. The LORD has no more interest in the self-serving, denominationalism of the modern church than He did in the pseudo-temple of the Pharisees. (Which is why they would get so incensed when He would teach there.) They, too, had rewritten Scripture to fit their own imaginations, and God had abandoned them to their folly.
